Sunday happenings:
A wrong-way driver on Highway 370 from New Town, going eastbound in the westbound lanes. It was reported as a pickup truck going at a high rate of speed.
An 80 year old man had an injury at T. R. Hughes Ballpark when a stray ball struck his head.
An Imo’s Pizza delivery person reported her car stolen tonight from Hopewell Road in Wentzville. She went to the door to deliver the pizza, the man who answered the door said he had to get into his car for money. Instead he drove away in her maroon Pontiac Grand Am.
Wires were down in the backyard of a house on Derby in St. Peters.
We are having severe weather tonight and already much is being reported about wires sparking, transformer problems and power outages.
