Truck accident on Boone Bridge
At about 12:30 p.m. today traffic was stopped as emergency crews reacted to a jack-knife accident involving two tractor trailer trucks hauling a modular home. Each truck had one half of the home.
The trucks were traveling on Highway 40 westbound and the accident occurred on the Daniel Boone Bridge.
Access to the accident was difficult and emergency crews had to travel in the wrong direction on the highway to get to it.
A small pickup truck was also involved in the mess.
