This privacy policy pertains to NAT’s use of your personally identifiable information (your name, e-mail address, street address, telephone number etc.). Any personally identifiable information provided to us by you will be handled according to this Privacy Policy, as below.

We collect site statistics in hopes of analyzing trends, tracking user movement and creating a better experience for all who use our publications. We may track data or questions you provide to us for the purpose of publishing a “frequently asked questions” section or for tracking different types of questions we receive. Your identification will not be published associated with any of the questions.

We will collect information you give us if you participate in a NAT promotion, such as a contest. We will use this information to communicate with you about the promotion. We will NOT misuse your contact information by sending you numerous communications. If you wish to opt out of receiving further communications from us, please let us know. If one of our promotional events is done jointly with another entity, the information we collect may be shared with the other entity, and they may have their own privacy policy. Please check the privacy policies of all participating entities before engaging in a promotion.

We may disclose your personal information if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to: cooperate with the decree of the law or comply with legal process served on NAT; to protect and defend NAT’s rights of property or the users of our publications; and to protect the personal safety of the users of our publications or the public. If we feel it is necessary to protect our systems, business, users or others, we reserve the right to disclose information about you to third parties including data on which pages you have visited.

We provide collected information, such as the number of users who have visited, to other parties. No personally-identifiable information is shared for this purpose.

In the unlikely event of merger, acquisition, sale of assets, insolvency, or bankruptcy or receivership, information about you we have in our possession may be disclosed to another provider or transferred as a business asset of NAT.  NAT cannot guarantee the receiving entity will comply with the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Please be aware that if you post content on a forum or comments section of, some of your information may be viewable by users.

If we contract with another company to create, support, manage, maintain or improve, a representative(s) of the hired company may be privy to our collections of user information.

NAT will take steps to ensure your information is treated securely and in agreement with this Privacy Policy; however, no data transmission over the Internet is guaranteed to be completely secure. Though we strive to protect information sent to us, we cannot ensure the security of this information. Submit information at your own risk.

If you supply information to us about a third party, you agree that you have provided notice to and obtained consent from that third party to do so. You agree that you have communicated to the third party: the purposes for which the third party’s information has been collected; the intended recipients or groups of recipients of the third party’s information; which of the third party’s information is mandatory and which is voluntary; and how the third party can access and, if necessary, rectify the information about them.

NAT does not knowingly collect or use any personal information from children under the age of 13. If we become aware that we have done so, we will promptly delete such information from our databases.

The website may contain links to other websites. NAT’s Privacy Policy does not apply to other websites. Please check the Privacy Policy of each separate website.

By visiting or by providing information to us, you agree that any dispute regarding privacy or terms pertaining to NAT will be governed by the laws of the State of Missouri. You also agree to settle any disputes and abide by any limitation on damages contained in our Terms of Service or any other agreement we have with you.

Neighbors About Town, LLC has the right at any time to change or discontinue any aspect or feature of any NAT publication as well as to change or modify the Terms and Conditions applicable to User’s use of any NAT publication. Notice of these changes will be reflected on or by sending User(s) electronic or conventional mail. These changes shall be effective immediately upon notice and any use of NAT publications by User after such notice shall be deemed to constitute acceptance by User of such change(s).

Section 3

User shall be responsible for acquiring and maintaining all equipment necessary for access to and use of and all charges related thereto.

Section 4

User shall use NAT publications for only lawful purposes. User shall not post or transmit via any NAT publication any material which violates or infringes upon the rights of others, which is unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, vulgar, obscene, profane or otherwise objectionable. Users also shall not post or transmit via any NAT publication any material which encourages conduct that would constitute a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability or otherwise violate any law or which, without NAT’s express prior approval, contains advertising or any solicitation with respect to products or services.

No conduct will be permitted which, in NAT’s discretion, restricts or inhibits any other User from using or enjoying our publications. User shall not use NAT publications to advertise or perform any commercial solicitation, including, but not limited to, the solicitation of users to become subscribers of other services competitive with NAT.

Section 5

Copyrighted material, trademarks and other proprietary information such as text content, software, photos, videos, graphics, music and audio, is found in NAT publications. NAT also owns a copyright in the coordination, arrangement and selection of such content. Other trademarks appearing in NAT publications are the property of their respective owners.

User may download material found on for personal use only. User agrees that it does not acquire any ownership rights by downloading copyrighted material.

No copying, redistribution, retransmission, publication or commercial exploitation of material will be permitted without the express permission of NAT and the copyright owner, except as otherwise expressly permitted under copyright law.

If any copying, redistribution or publication of copyrighted material is permitted, no changes in, or deletion of, author attribution, trademark legend or copyright notice shall be made.

User shall not make available on any NAT publication any material protected by copyright, trademark or other proprietary right without the express permission of the owner of the copyright, trademark or other proprietary right. The User is responsible for determining whether any material is copyright protected. User will be solely liable for any damage resulting from any copyright infringements, proprietary rights or any other harm resulting from such a submission.

By submitting material to any NAT publication, including but not limited to forums and comment sections, User automatically grants, warrants or authorizes that the owner of the submitted material has expressly granted NAT the royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive right and license to reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate and distribute such material (in whole or in part) worldwide and/or to incorporate it in other works in any form, media or technology now known or hereafter developed for the full term of any copyright that may exist in such material. User also hereby grants NAT the right to copy, edit, publish and distribute any material made available on NAT publication(s) by User and that the User permits any other User to access, view, store or reproduce the material for that User’s personal use.

Regarding copyright issues--NAT affiliates and its third party content providers and licensors shall each have the right to assert and enforce provisions directly or on its own behalf.

User expressly agrees to the following:

Use of NAT publications is at User’s sole risk. NAT’s partners, employees, agents, third party content providers or licensors do not guarantee that NAT publications will be uninterrupted or error-free; nor do they make any authorization as to the results that may be acquired from use of NAT publications or as to the accuracy, reliability or content of any information, service or merchandise provided through NAT publications. NAT publications are provided “as-is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

These disclaimers of liability apply to any damages or injury caused by such things as failure of performance, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, computer virus, communication line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to alterations of, or use of record, whether for breach of contract, tortuous behavior, negligence or under any other cause of action.

User specifically acknowledges that NAT is not liable for the defamatory, offensive or illegal conduct of other Users or third-parties and that the risk of injury from these cases rests entirely with User.

In no event will NAT or any person or entity involved in creating, producing, publishing or distributing NAT publication(s) or software, be liable for any damages, including, without limitation, direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from the use of or inability to use NAT publications. User hereby acknowledges that these provisions shall apply to all content of NAT publications.

NAT nor its affiliates, information providers or content partners shall be liable, regardless of the cause or duration, for any errors, inaccuracies, omissions or other defects in, or untimely or unauthentic information contained within NAT publications.

NAT nor its affiliates, information providers or content partners shall be liable, regardless of the cause or duration, for any delay or interruption in the transmission thereof to the User or for any claims or losses arising wherefrom or occasioned thereby. None of the foregoing parties shall be liable for any third-party claims or losses of any nature, including by not limited to, lost profits, punitive or consequential damages. Neither NAT nor its affiliates, information providers or content partners warrant or guarantee the timeliness, sequence, accuracy or completeness of this information. Additionally, there are no warranties as to the results obtained from the use of the information.

User agrees to defend and hold harmless NAT, its affiliates and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from and against all claims and expenses, including attorneys’ fees, surfacing from the use of any NAT publication by User or User’s Account.

NAT shall have the right to immediately terminate User’s Account in the event of User’s conduct but which NAT, in its sole discretion considers to be unacceptable or if the User breaches this Agreement. The provisions of this Section 5 shall survive termination of this Agreement.

Section 6

NAT has the right, but not the obligation, to monitor forums and comment sections of its publications and to determine compliance with these Terms of Service and any other rules established by NAT and to comply with any law, regulation or authorized government request.

NAT has the sole right to edit, refuse to post or remove any material submitted to or posted on its publications.

Section 7

Content provided in NAT publications does not necessarily reflect the views held by NAT owners. NAT neither endorses nor is responsible for the accuracy or reliability of any opinion, advice or statement made in NAT publications other than by authorized NAT employee spokespersons while acting in their official capacities.

Section 8

It is the responsibility of User to evaluate the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any information, opinion, advice or other content available through NAT publications, seeking professional advice when appropriate.

Project instructions and recipes are often found in NAT publications. These shall also be evaluated by User for any risks before attempting.

Under no circumstances will NAT be liable for any loss or damage caused by a User’s reliance on information obtained through NAT publications.

Section 9

This Agreement supersedes all previous written or oral agreements between the parties. This Agreement shall be understood in accordance with the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. The section headings in this Agreement are for convenience only and offer no legal import.

If you believe your work has been used in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide us information, as required by the Online Copyright Infringement Liability Limitation Act of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. 512.

The term “publication(s)” in the following Advertising Policy, Privacy Policy and Terms of Service policy documents refers to all publications produced by Neighbors About Town, LLC (also known as “NAT,” “we” and “us”). NAT has the right to refuse to publish any advertisement, to determine advertisement location, and to delete objectionable words or phrases.

Submission of advertisement to a NAT representative does not constitute NAT’s commitment to publish the advertisement.

Publication of an advertisement does not form an agreement for continued publication.

NAT will not be liable for failure to publish an advertisement as requested or for more than one incorrect insertion of an advertisement.

In the event of an error or omission in printing or publishing of an advertisement, NAT’s liability shall be limited to an adjustment for the cost of the space occupied by the error, with maximum liability being cancellation of the cost of the first incorrect advertisement or republication of the correct advertisement.

NAT shall not be liable for consequential damages of any kind as a result of advertising.
